Fans at Max Pezzali's concert: everyone headed to the Imola racetrack. "Today is our celebration."

Imola (Bologna), July 12, 2025 – They've arrived from all over Italy : some by train, some by car. All with one goal: to be there this evening at the racetrack for 'Max Forever - Grand Prix,' Max Pezzali's mega concert event , which will bring together 85,000 spectators under the Imola skies on a thirty-year musical journey.

From the afternoon, as the gates approached their opening time , the crowds gathered near Via Malsicura, in front of the Renzo bar, with banners, personalized T-shirts, '90s caps, and signs with dedications. The atmosphere was that of a great generational reunion , between old friends and kids who grew up listening to the sounds of 883.

Max is the soundtrack of my adolescence, I couldn't miss it,” says Giulia, 39, from Sicily with a group of friends.

Some even brought their children: " I raised them on bread and 'They Killed Spider-Man' ," smiles Paolo, 46, who arrived from Bergamo with his family. "Tonight we'll all sing 'Come mai' together at the top of our lungs."

The concert (starting at 9 pm) will cover all of Pezzali's hits, from the heyday of 883 with "Nord Sud Ovest Est" and "Sei un mito" to his solo hits like "Gli anni." A monumental setlist lasting over two hours promises to be a veritable collective karaoke.

Around the racetrack, the anticipation is feverish but peaceful. Stalls sell merchandise, sandwiches, and ice-cold beers, while remixes of the most popular songs are already blasting from the speakers. Some improvise choreography, some scroll through lyrics on their phones, and some simply enjoy the sun with friends.

"It's our party," says Matteo, 37, from Turin. "It's more than a concert, it's a journey through time. Here, we're all on the same team: the one that dreamed of summer with a song on the radio."
